KEY DELIVERABLES, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget Mastery

  • Contribute to and provide accurate departmental input during the annual budget process.
  • Ensure meticulous forecasting, identifying reasonable expenditures, and maintaining departmental budgets within approved funding levels.
  • Proactively identify areas for cost savings and adherence to finance policies.

People Management

  • Conduct bi-annual Performance Management reviews, fostering employee development and mentorship.
  • Ensure sufficient departmental coverage and supervise and mentor direct reports for improved performance
  • Build a high-morale team to achieve company objectives.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain a department with no repetitive findings in internal or external audits.

Taxation Expertise

  • Stay updated on tax issues and promptly communicate relevant information to management.
  • Coordinate and control planning, reporting, and payment of tax obligations efficiently and accurately.

Cash Flow Management

  • Develop and maintain monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor and maintain proper cash flow according to company policy.

Financial Reporting

  • Produce accurate monthly and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven working experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong basic accounting skills and understanding of financial systems, taxation rules, and budgeting.
  • Preferred experience in aviation/logistics.
